Recovery Time -
Mild case = 2 weeks
Bad case = 6 weeks

Data not stated -
Death = 1 month ??
Pure guess on my part - somewhere between a quick recovery, and a long, drawn-out battle.

The WORST aspect of this virus is - you are infecting others BEFORE you get sick!

Unlike previous versions of the flu. That is what makes it so infectious,
insidious and NASTY!

Rate of Symptoms
88% - Fever
68% - Dry Cough

Contagious

Most contagious

Contagion level = ?

Symptomatic disease lasts from a few days to weeks, and the duration correlates with other ongoing health issues in the individual.

Salient Facts

1.
We are beyond containment.
MOST people will get it and recover.
80 % of all cases will be "mild".
Primary objective - Reducing the spread rate.
    Flatten the infection peak.

2. Prevention measures -
    - Frequent hand washing
    - Social distancing
      - DO NOT attend a coronavirus party!
      - Flaunting fate is NOT SMART.

3. It has been estimated the live virus can live on
certain surfaces for up to 72 hours (3 days),
based upon type of surface, temperature &
    humidity.
    WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY!
    Don't touch your face
between hand washings.

4. The older the individual, the more vulnerable
    they are -
    - to complications and death,
    - as illustrated in the
age chart below.

5. Children have much milder symptoms than adults,
    as illustrated in the
age chart below.

6. As yet, there is NO CURE.
    A year or more
is required to develop a vaccine.

7. DO NOT drink bleach or Lysol.
.

8. Stop panicking. Stop hoarding water and TP.
Folks are going insane at Costco and Trader Joe's.
The only thing that hoarders accomplish is -
     MAKING LIFE DIFFICULT FOR OTHERS.

Do you think that Crown Zellerbach and Georgia-Pacific are unable to produce all the toilet paper we will ever need? It is made from trees. There is no shortage of trees.

There is also no shortage of people whose BIGGEST FEAR is no toilet paper. TP was not even invented until 1857. Folks managed to live their lives before that date.

Why spend all your time making certain that others can't get it?
The virus does not make people crazy.
But, the fear of it does.

A few panic, which forces all others to panic.
     Lemmings.

This chart clearly suggests that you do not have to get overly worried about your children.

BUT, you do need to worry about Grandma and Grandpa, especially if they have respiratory issues. This virus has highlighted the fact that
they SHOULD RECEIVE
both Pneumonia vaccinations -

the "Prevnar 13" (PCV13) vaccination, and

the "
Pneumovax 23" (PPSV23) vaccination.

BEFORE they are exposed to COVID-19.
AS IN, long before YESTERDAY!
