Paying your utilities -
When you pay by check, just how much time does the billing company allow you to put your check in the mail, before you will be charged a late fee?
Verizon is the worst. And their policy just became onerous - they make money by clobbering you with PHONY, FORCED late charges.

The point of this chart - Verizon SUCKS.
This is an insane marketing attempt to
defraud customers with late charges.


I do not feel compelled to RACE 12 miles into town to my P.O. Box, EVERY HODD@NGED DAY just because Verizon tells me I MUST, as the only way to avoid paying their HODD@NGED, trumped-up LATE FEE.

That's not enough for Verizon.
My January 2018 bill contains the following text.

"Important Bill Due Date Information"
"Verizon is standardizing the number of days to pay your bill.
Beginning with your bill with a January due date, your payment will be due 3 days earlier than it is today. This change will only affect the
amount of time you have to pay your bill and will not change your billing cycle or billed charges."

I smell a class action lawsuit.

It may not "change my billing cycle from THEIR point of view, but it SURE AS HE|L CHANGES IT from MY point of view. I was already clicking my heels together to get to my d@nmed P.O. Box ASAP, and now you are giving me 3 FEWER DAYS?

The Verizon jerks have now made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to avoid a late fee. The last two bills they sent had LATE FEES.

There is ONE solution.
Get the he|l away from Verizon, a unbridled monopoly which abuses its customers IN MANY WAYS.

Don't even get me started on their BS "customer service" (customer avoidance). They would NOT even allow me to cancel my OWN DAMNED ACCOUNT for an iPad. I was forced to have my bank cancel my credit card, and issue another.

NO MORE AUTOPAY for me, EVER. It is always pushed as a "convenience". BUT, it is primarily a vehicle allowing a vendor to ROB YOU of fees, that you DON'T OWE. ESPECIALLY, to collect "Early Termination Fees", that just so happen to be THE FULL COST of a 2-year contract. This is TOTAL BS - slimy vendors screwing over the public.
