Golf Club Comparison Chart - Loft and Distance

The summary chart below compares the characteristics of a typical set of 14 golf clubs. Included are the club name, the loft angle, the lie angle, and the typical distance that can be achieved by the average golfer.

The clubs are listed in order of shot distance, from shortest (putter) all the way up to the longest (driver). Club lengths will of course vary, to suit the height of the golfer - some typical club lengths are given. In addition to being a Golf Club Loft Chart, the table is a Golf Club Distance Chart, as well.

I have always wondered just what the performance characteristics are, of all the various golf clubs. So, I made this comparison chart to illustrate the differences.
