There will be no Protestants on the Supreme Court, after Kagen is confirmed - the erosion of Protestantism.

According to the Segal-Cover Score,
1. Justices Ginsberg and Scalia are the most qualified justices.
2. Justice Thomas is unquestionably the least qualified justice.
3. Justice Ginsberg is the most LIBERAL of the justices.
4. Justice Scalia is the most CONSERVATIVE justice.
5. Justice Stevens has the highest seniority on the court. He is frequently a swing voter.
6. Justices Kennedy and Souter can be swing voters, as well.
7. Justices Roberts and Alito are the Johnny-come-latelys.

A Most Recent Travesty Against "Children Victims"

On June 25, 2008, the court gave a pass to the most despicable human beings on earth.
After reading this most recent decision, I am no longer a Liberal. I am now a Conservative. I'm 64.
When children don't matter, you are going to have trouble with me.

In the words of dissenting Justice Scalia, "It means the death penalty would be barred,
no matter how young the child,
no matter how many times the child is raped,
no matter how many children the perpetrator rapes,
no matter how sadistic the crime,
no matter how much physical or psychological trauma is inflicted, and
no matter how heinous the perpetrator's prior criminal record may be."

Louisiana had provided for the death penalty for first-time offenders.
Montana, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas had provided for the death penalty for second offenders.
As of yesterday, June 25, 2008, these laws have been overturned.
Alabama, Colorado, Idaho, Mississippi, Missouri and Washington had been leaning toward passing such a law.

The federal government authorizes the death penalty for treason, espionage, kidnapping and aircraft hijacking.
But not for the heinous, depraved crime of multiple vicious rapes of multiple toddlers? Unbelievable.
The children have no voice. How can this be?

The Supreme Court is broken. Too much authority can go to judges' heads.
Idiocy has once again been canonized. By one vote. One bad day for one person. It has changed history.
We must now rely upon prison inmates to provide appropriate justice for these disgusting offenders.




The Two Theories Currently Being Espoused


With A Capital Crime Law:
There will be fewer child victims, but more of them will be killed. (previous state laws which were overturned)
There will be fewer offenses committed.


Without A Capital Crime Law:
There will be more child victims, but fewer of them will be killed. (yesterday's decision)
There will be more offenses committed.

Are we to be ruled by conservative Catholics? Good luck with birth control issues, child-molesting priests, etc.
Judge Thomas has been criticized for being so silent - he is well aware of the adage about "removing all doubt".
