Missing Sex Offender Data

Critical information that is NOT provided is -
     - the sexual preference of the offender
     - the modus operandi of the offender
     - the age target of the offender
     - the date of the last offense
     - the number of offenses
     - historical mobility
     - offense locations
HUH?
How are we supposed to evaluate -
     - where we can expect to find them
          (offense locations, modus operandi)?
     - the degree of depravity of the offender
          (offense type, number of offenses)?
     - the degree of risk in your particular situation
(offense locations, gender preference, modus operandi)?
     - and the degree of current risk
(offense locations, gender preference, number of offenses, last offense)?

Megan's Law is ALL ABOUT telling you WHERE THEY ARE.
Why do we have a FILTERED database with MISSING ADDRESSES???
Why are there exceptions?
EVERY sexual offender can apply for "IMMUNITY TO INTERNET EXPOSURE".
Here is the state pdf form -
http://meganslaw.ca.gov/pdf/Application.pdf
For what reasons would YOU like to see "Immunity To Internet Exposure" granted for predators?

Is it determined by money (cash equals immunity)?
Why are there so many missing photographs? Why should ANY be missing?
If you have been convicted, a "Mug" shot exists.

Six ZIP Code Maps shown in pink above are NOT working - that's 35% of the ZIP Codes.
The last row are the results given by "County Search" - Santa Cruz.

Current Danger
They're Everywhere
"There is a convicted, CHILD PREDATOR living within 100 yards of me.
MY kids play with others RIGHT NEAR the residence.
Without Megan's Law, none of us would have known.
Now, I have made sure that EVERYBODY KNOWS."
... Quote from local mother, Dec. 17, 2004

Megan's legacy lives on!

CALIFORNIA STATE SEXUAL PREDATOR INFORMATION

On 12-17-04, I checked the Los Angeles neighborhood I grew up in.

It was not fun to see that there is a sexual predator
currently living at my childhood residence in Palms, CA.

Do you have children?
Do you care about the kids in your neighborhood?
USE the Megan's Law database to inform yourself.
It isn't perfect,but
it is 100 times better than what we had before,
which was nothing.

Demand is extremely high, because it just went online.
You might not be able to get in easily.
The servers are overloaded.
Many ZIP codes don't work yet.
Try late at night for easier access.

Support Megan's Law

Many dedicated individuals have worked long and hard to assure the implementation of Megan's Law.
You no longer have to visit your local Sheriff's Office to view the data on a CD-ROM.
In California, it has taken 8 YEARS to get the data online.
THIS LAW PROTECTS CHILDREN.

DO NOT let anyone try to convince you otherwise.
The opposition comes from the offenders themselves, and their unscrupulous, money-driven attorneys.

ALL 50 states now have some form of Megan's Law.

In the past, the legal wrist-slapping and wand-waving at deviant sexual behavior has gone too far. Megan's Law is a long overdue effort to reverse that trend.

Pedophilia - No acceptable justification ever
The amount of mental and spiritual damage done to a child resulting from such attacks is unmeasureable, profound, and lasts forever.

The RIGHT of innocent children to be protected from attack is 100 times greater than the so-called "rights" of sexual predators. To think otherwise is perversion itself. Any adult sex with children is predatory.

May Megan not have died in vain.

We must no longer excuse and protect the perpetrators of such heinous assaults upon humanity.
To allow continuing, repeated offenses is unconscionable, both legally and morally.
Perpetual offenders do not belong among us.
There is NO CRIME with higher recidivism.
How many more ruined lives?

Only YOU can help in this effort.
There is no nobler cause than the protection of our children.
Thank you very much for your time.

The first paragraph on the CA State Megan's Law page says - "more than 63,000 persons".
Where are the missing 18,000? (63,000 minus 45,177)
(Does not include another 22,000 known to law enforcement, but not listed.)
Why does the Klass Kids foundation put the total at 99,000? The TRUE number?

* County Population Data from the State of California -
E-5 City / County Population and Housing Estimates, 2004

Trinity County (highest rate) has 8 times the per capita offender rate than Marin County (lowest rate).
Is that because Trinity is the poorest, and Marin is the richest (money=silence)?
