Here is a summary of some reading glasses sellers, along with the diopter strength of the glasses that they sell.

Previously, the higher diopters were available everywhere. For some reason, they have become very hard to find. Many sizes have been discontinued. I have therefore created this summary, to help you find what you need.

Almost everybody suffers from presbyopia around age 40, and can benefit from these inexpensive, effective readers. As aging continues, stronger diopter lenses will be required.

"Prescription Quality refers to magnification of lens." NO Magnification data. YOU CANNOT search by power. Amazon.com, Walmart (no retailer list) Amazon.com (no retailer list) CVS, forget it. Long's was far superior. Too bad. Don't forget, you can always put on two pair at the same time, which I do EVERY day. When doing my fingernails, I sometimes put on three pair. I can do a better job on everything, IF I can SEE it in perfect focus!
