Places to Avoid

Unless you don't mind creating an online medical dossier on yourself, which is sold to others for the purposes of :
- bombarding you with spam email
- informing insurance companies of your pre-existing conditions
- tracking your online activity through the use of "cookies".

Any site that REQUIRES registration is NOT about informing you, it is about MARKETING.

Observation #1 -
If you do decide to visit these "Must Register" sites, read the Privacy Policy first.
Rule-of-thumb:
The longer the privacy policy, the more you will be exposed. It takes a lot of words to legally maximize their ability to use your information in any way they so choose.

Observation #2 -
All the best, most informative sites are FREE.
Why bother with the commercial, money-agenda sites ?

The two observations above apply to ALL sites, not just medical.
