UPDATE July 20, 2016:
---
BAD NEWS ---
Media.net has gone the way of AdSense - STRAIGHT DOWN. From over $500 per week, down to $100, and still dropping. NO EXPLANATION is offered.

My new contact in Mumbai has targeted (very well) several of my pages that I requested. Due to this improved targeting, I will be adding more Media.net ads.

I now have 2 theories about Media.net -
1. They give all their attention to BIG players, and I'm not even close to making the cut. "Follow the money", based upon their limited resources. I guess that I would do the same thing.

2. They start EVERYONE high, then gradually reduce their payout to a LOW level. Several posts on the Internet by others confirm this.
.

Targeting is NOT automatic. If you have multiple subjects (me), they will target the ones with the highest volume, but that is all. I asked about this, and was told that I must ask to have other pages targeted - send them a targeting request on a page-by-page basis. I WANT THEM ALL TARGETED! They are supposed to be "CONTEXTUAL ADS".

Normally, they take ads from my OTHER pages, which have NOTHING to do with the current page, and add them - these are not contextual. This is a problem, since untargeted ads are WORSE than no ads at all.

I just tried Amazon. I ran their ads for a week, and was getting sales. Then they threw me out. The 2 reasons given were TOTALLY UNTRUE. I will do a separate page on Amazon.

Whose next? FAN?

3. Speculation
Since AdSense used to pay me $3,500 per week, I am left to ponder the reason for this continuing degradation (to $100 per week), since their communication with me has been ZERO.

There are JUST 2 possibilities --->
.

1.
I am STILL on a Google sh|tlist, resulting in them downgrading everything regarding my website - ranking, traffic, ad quality and payout. I lean toward this explanation, due to extensive, historical, compiled evidence.

or

2. AdSense is Dead. The gravy train done left the station, never to return. Google's ravenous greed has doomed AdSense participants to mediocre results, forever, from here forward. Many publishers are saying this, because -

* Large click amounts are STILL disappearing hourly, just as they were 1 year ago. You have $10 - 1 hour later, you have $5 - all day long. (I just checked some more, let me confirm - ALL DAY, EVERY DAY.) If you don't check often (hourly), you will never see it. Time-stamped screen shots are the only way to prove this. LOTS of them. It simply astounds me that they have not suppressed this embarrassing, HOURLY claw-back data before this. They have been doing this for AT LEAST 18 months now. They are doing it today.

* SERPs Determined by Money - not relevance
* Inflated Impressions
- Ghost traffic BS
* Removed Clicks - Click shaving BS
     - Outright theft without explanation
     - Bye-bye CTR
* Reduced EPCs - Payout shaving BS
     - Paying out FAR less than before
* Irrelevant Ads - Crap ad serving BS
     - Bye-bye CTR, bye-bye income
* Daily RED BAR BS (Nothing working)
     - "Earnings are not impacted" - LIE!

What do YOU think? (Check out my site.)
Have I been severely punished for some unknown sin, or has AdSense gone the way of the dodo bird?
It won't be long now.
AdSense collapse = Google downhill future.
.

Just like the Federal Reserve, Google is long overdue for an OUTSIDE AUDIT, to find out where all OUR money is going. Google posts higher and higher profits, while publishers languish.

When your "partner" becomes your adversary ...
.

4. Media.net Earnings Over Time

2016 Earnings - AdSense vs. Media.net

RED = Impressions
BLUE = Earnings

-

Ever since I returned to Media.net after a 2-month vacation in Feb. through March 2015, my earnings have NOT RECOVERED. My earnings have gone STEADILY DOWNWARD since then.

This corresponds to what I have read on the web over and over again. The way Media.net works is --->
1. Start them off with high pay
2. Gradually lower the earnings, until it no longer pays to use Media.net.

Take note of the recent downhill slide in earnings - earning CUT IN HALF. Oh, well. It worked at first, but it is now definitely time to try other programs. Media.net has provided NO GUIDANCE about why this is happening, nor have they offered ANY ADVICE about how to fix it.

I liked my rep Trusha. Then I got Rushabh, but before I could speak with him, I got reassigned to Prerna. Looks like I am a "hot potato", that no one wants to deal with. MY THEORY IS THAT I AM JUST A SMALL FRY, who isn't worth the effort. Especially since I must now REQUEST targeting, for EVERY page with a Media ad on it. One would think that it would be automatic, but it isn't.

Time to try Amazon, Facebook and a few others.
