Do you have problems reading Adobe Acrobat .pdf files in your Web Browser ?

 Try these :

 Make sure you have just one copy of the "PDFViewer(.xxx)" file on your hard drive,

 Has the browser that you are using been properly configured
 to open Acrobat Reader as a browser plug-in?

 This may not be automatic upon installation.

 For example:

 Modify Acrobat Reader to function as a browser Plug-in
 (launching directly into the browser window),
 rather than as a Helper application,
 (saving the file and launching it's own window to display the PDF).

 How much RAM memory does your system allot to your browser? ...

 You may want to increase these amounts, to prevent out-of-memory crashes.

 For example:

On a Mac G4 :

 Mac G4, running OS9.1 - Single-click the unopened Netscape Icon, then do:

 File > Info > Memory - and change the "Minimum Size" and "Preferred Size"
 to Double or even perhaps Quadruple the "Suggested Size"
 (provided, of course, that you have the physical RAM to spare).
 All my .PDF files are small, but some can be very large!

PC :
Mac :

 Work-around: Open the file in a new browser window,
 by right-clicking your mouse (PC), or
 by Press-and-Hold menu (Mac)
 This circumvents several instability problems.

 Last resort: "Save to disk" ... then open directly from the Acrobat Reader application.
