Double Cheese

Here are my thoughts regarding the Double Cheeseburger.

In my opinion, the Double Cheeseburger offers the highest ratio of bad ingredients to total weight, of any commercial hamburger that can be found. I feel that eating these goowads all the time will endanger your health.

Actual Amount

"Due to the individual preparation of each of our menu items, actual values may vary from those listed."

In other words, some owners may instruct employees to add extra salt, thereby ensuring the sales of more beverages.

Some owners may instruct employees to scoop up extra fat with the hamburger patty, for added flavor.

Notes

Experiment

Here is an experiment for you.
Put one of your double cheeseburgers in the refrigerator overnight. Take it out, and carefully unwrap it. Slowly, carefully, separate the burger into two pieces, right between the two pieces of meat, which are cemented together with a cheese like substance. Put the pieces up close to your face, and stare at them. Just think about the contents of that chemical goo.

Vaughn's Law

"The healthfulness of any food product is inversely proportional to the number of ingredients listed on the label." . . . Me

"Bun"

"Enriched bleached wheat flour (malted barley flour, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, iron, folic acid), water, high fructose corn syrup, vegetable oil (partially hydrogenated soybean oil), yeast. Contains less than 2 percent or less salt, wheat gluten, calcium sulfate, ammonium chloride, ascorbic acid, azodicarbomide, diacetyl tartaric acid esters of mono- and diglycerides, corn flour, soy flour, calcium peroxide, mono- and diglycerides, propionic acid, phosphoric acid, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerides, wheat flour, silicon dioxide, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate, fungal enzymes, calcium propionate (as a preservative), sesame seeds on the Quarter Pounder Bun."
Partially hydrogenated means TFAs, azodicarbomide is a nasty chemical which is SUPPOSED to be all gone after baking, silicon dioxide is crushed sand - what is all that other junk?

"Cheese"

"Cultured milk, water, cream, sodium citrate, salt, sodium aluminum phosphate, sorbic acid (preservative), sodium phosphate, cheese culture, artificial color, acetic acid, enzymes, lecithin."
I just love aluminum in my cheese! Along with my sodium aluminum, and my sodium chloride (salt), gimme some sodium phosphate and sodium citrate - I'm just not getting enough SODIUM!

Do you really want to eat this?

Consequences

Doctors tell us that the American diet is responsible for more disease than anything else - just which fast foods do you think that they are referring to?

1. High Blood Pressure - sodium, sodium, sodium
2. Arteriosclerosis - Clogged Arteries - TFAs are implicated found in partially hydrogenated vegetable oils
3. CHF - Congestive Heart Failure
Diabetes
Heart Disease
Obesity
Stroke

Yummy! Give me two, please.
