In each case above, I have linked to the information, IF it is provided. You can clearly see who is helpful, and who is not. I prefer to deal with companies who DESCRIBE their plans, not companies that HIDE them, and try to sign you up first. How about you?

These companies all want to give you a quote, rather than describing their plans. Getting a quote requires that you INPUT ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, BEFORE you even get to see the plan. Then you get buried in mail, email, and phone calls, which is NOT what I want. I want INFORMATION ONLINE, and that is the very thing that they are reluctant to give you.

Do you know of any other industry who sells you their product FIRST, and then tells you what you bought LATER?

WHY do they do this?
They don't want you to know exactly what you get, because you don't get much.
ALL these organizations operate to MAXIMIZE their profits. This means they -
1. Seek to maximize your premiums and co-payments, and
2. Seek to minimize your treatment, since ALL treatment reduces their profits.

Oftentimes, you do NOT get what you pay for, which is common practice in the health industry.
ALL these companies have a HUGE FLAW - profit is generated and maximized by actively, purposely denying service, on a case by case basis. You must scream your head off to get what you paid for. DOS (Denial Of Service) is part of the business plan of health insurance companies. All of these facts make health insurance selection extremely difficult, and distasteful.
